Everything posted in the Graphics section (no matter what it is, s signature, drawing, or otherwise) will have comments from other users.

Sometimes, it is difficult to know just what kinds of posts are allowed and which ones are not, especially in the Graphics forum, where the majority of posts are opinionated. This guide will briefly cover the kind of critique and praise we would like to see in our ever growing Graphics forum. biggrin

-----
Simple Rules
-----

1. If you don't like someone's artwork- don't criticize it negatively. Of course constructive criticism is okay to do. On the other hand, do not flame others for constructively criticizing your work. If you post a piece or artwork, expect it to be criticized.
2. If you have nothing but praise for the artist in question, please don't fill up threads with short one liners. Spam posts are not allowed here. Instead, put thought and time into your posts.
3. (NOTE: THIS IS OPTIONAL) Instead of making threads for a specific piece of artwork you created, make a gallery thread instead. The gallery thread should be used to display all recent works you wish to share, from sketches to finished pieces. You (the thread maker) may update the thread past the 1 month dead thread time limit, so you won't need to make a whole new gallery thread if the thread "dies".

If anything gets too problematic or you're unsure of a problem...Please report the topic or send a PM to a moderator or Administrator. The staff is here to help you! biggrin

FAQ
-----

* I hate this piece of artwork, may I please flame this loser already?
-No, you may not. You can change the artwork by nicely telling the artist what you don't like in detail, or you could just not look at it. Whatever works for you.
* WOW! Gosh golly gee, I love this guy's artwork! But I can't really think of anything besides a one-line comment like "I love your work!" What should I do?
-Tell them what you like about it. Did you love the color? The gradient? Go into detail!
* I don't like this person at all, can I ban him from my topic?
Nope. >:[
* EwEwEw...This total nub-face stole my idea! What do I do?
-Talk it out with him a moderator, or an administrator.

Writing
-------
When judging writing, look at things such as grammar, build-up, and overall whether or not you enjoyed reading the work. Pay attention to the rules, and you will do fine.
